Description

This is one of the most beautiful Japanese Maples, and can be grown to a height of 2.5 – 6ft+ (80cm – 2m). When in leaf, it has beautiful wine red – purple deeply divided leaves carried on a spreading, dropping form. This plant does not like wind but is quite hardy in every other way. Suitable as a feature plant or in a rockery and will grow in semi shade.
